About The Artist

I began making pottery in 1988. My handbuilt work and sculptural pieces were exhibited in numerous local and national exhibitions. My early work is represented in public and private collections. I now produce a range of work for the table, the garden and your walls. I am also well known for my subtropical Auckland garden.

My artwork is only available direct from my studio gallery or by mail order.

ABOUT THE ART

All my ceramic art is made from a strong white clay, mid fired to 1200 degrees C and will last forever outdoors or indoors. My tableware is dishwasher safe and is painted with underglaze colours and given a clear glaze. My wall art often has multiple firings to achieve its richly textured and coloured surface. The powdercoated aluminium legs on my garden birds are removable to allow easy packing.
